    Dr. Warren Butterfield has been in practice as an orthopedic trauma surgeon since 2007. He came to St. George in 2014 to assist in the transition of then Dixie Regional Medical Center to a level 2 trauma center and is currently the Director of Orthopedic Trauma at Intermountain Southwest Ortho Urgent Care. Dr. Butterfield earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah, completed medical school at The Ohio State University, and he completed an orthopedic surgery residency in Fort Worth, Texas. Lastly, he completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Butterfield enjoys all types of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and sport-climbing.  Dr. Butterfield also volunteers year round coaching his children’s mountain bike and soccer teams.

    Jason and Heather Ranoa are the Cycling and Triathlon directors for the Huntsman World Senior Games. We are fortunate enough to have had them for the past 3 years. Jason and Heather coach a non-profit Junior Developmental Cycling team based out of St. George. This team helps develop the future for American talent. Jason and Heather also time and run cycling races at the highest level throughout the West Coast. Both are Army Veterans and served with distinction in the mighty 82nd Airborne Division paratroopers. Jason and Heather have coached and mentored many top athletes to include national and world champions.

    #480 Don't Let the Old Man In - Featuring Nick Cipollino

    Nick Cipollino came from humble beginnings and knows the value of hard work. Nick took up sporting clay shooting in 1988 following a knee injury. He was introduced to the Huntsman World Senior Games in 2012, and at the age of 80, he secured gold in all seven shooting events at his first Games. Nick's Army service during the Korean War fueled his competitive spirit, and he has earned around 70 gold shooting medals since then. Nick is also an ardent snow skier who engages in annual helicopter skiing. His motto is “Don’t let the old man in,” and he was inducted into our Hall of Fame in 2023.

    Kyle also discussed an article that discusses things that people over 60 might want to stop doing to encourage good health, happiness, and meaningful relationships. Kyle and Lil do a great job with this podcast. They make it fun and also have great tips and tricks for living a healthy life for anyone of any age. It is also fun to hear from different guests/athletes each week. I recommend this podcast to all.
