Shooting from the hip

I appreciate what this podcast aspires to be and it’s pretty consistently spot on but sometimes it feels like they are shooting from the hip without enough info. There should also be more representation from working mothers as a part of the show.

Hilarious

I always love a good “I feel petty” segment, and this week, Megan Gailey’s take on Claudia Conway had me stop the episode, google her on American Idol, and laugh hysterically because she was totally right!

Not my cup of tea now... might be back later

So I have LOVED listening to this podcast during 2020, but since the election, I find myself a little turned off. I’m not sure what changed, I guess maybe I want to feel hopeful and as much as I believe everyone is entitled to their feelings, I also believe in boundaries and right now this isn’t the tone I want to hear on my morning commute. That said, I am still giving it 5 stars because a) support smart strong women out there doing work and this is important work; b) not my cup of tea right now may be exactly what you need to hear to feel motivated and energized; and c) its a great podcast! These women know wha they are talking about and have passion because of that! Keep on! But I’m hitting unsubscribe for now.
