Join Zack Peter and Karla Beltran to discuss Gotham Season 5 Episode 6 "13 Stitches" in which James Gordon is a rising detective in the dangerously corrupt Gotham City, where his late father was a successful district attorney. Brave, honest and determined to prove himself, Gordon must navigate the dirty politics of Gotham's justice system as well as the rise of malevolent villains, including The Penguin, The Riddler and Catwoman. The series also chronicles the life of young Bruce Wayne, who becomes an orphan when his billionaire parents Thomas and Martha Wayne are murdered. beadist ,

???

So, granted, it’s been a few years, but I just rewatched Gotham and found this podcast, but the last episode isn’t here!?! Many have been skipped and I was disappointed, but the very last one?!? No fair!!!

AllysonB ,

The host's personal issues ruined it for me.

I decided to rewatch Gotham and was hoping I could find a companion podcast that would focus on the show, but also talk about connections to and differences from the comics. This podcast seemed to fit the bill, HOWEVER...I'm 15 episodes in and the host, Ryan Hooks, has made a joke four or five times now about how women are always messing things up. The first time, I thought “Okay, he made a joke. It wasn't funny, but whatever.” The second time, I had to stop and scratch my head. The third time...you get it. You can only hear the same joke so many times before you wonder if its actually a joke. In episode 15, he says “Women always ruin everything for everyone” and then doubles down on the statement when his cohosts call him out on it. I get it dude. You have issues with women. How much worse does it get later in the show when there are several strong female characters? I can't imagine listening to 85 more hours of that.
