In this episode, I put the emphasis on keeping your account professional. There are multiple manners to produce content for your Instagram account. Please keep your feed professional.

I have nothing relevant to say

Like a writer facing the blank page or at the beginning of a new painting, sometimes, we are a bit stuck with our Instagram “content production” pipeline.

With the holidays, the content may vary with some beach and cool sunsets, it’s the season - Ok.

However, I would like to point out some unprofessional content all year round.

Unprofessional content
I hate those who publish their pets - even more, when some people start doing it over and over.  Surprisingly, there are big and professional accounts that are tempted too.

There are limitless examples, just for the illustration; here are some recent ones:

@artbrussels (a carousel of dogs)
@art22gallery (cat in posts and stories)
@HitomiKammai who calls herself the “Cat artist” (posts and stories)
@HollyCoulis with a cat everywhere on the profile picture to feed and stories. Despite that, she is an artist represented by @SimonLeegallery
@londonartstudies a fluffy cat in the post because there were already a few posts with dogs
@mallgalleries a painting of a big black cat
@the_breeder_gallery a dog peekaboo
@jessicasilvermangallery where is the artwork? oh yes on the second picture of course.
and even @vitoschnabelgallery (Stories about the Lion’s King movie)
