    Scream 3

    Scream 3

This episode has been in the making for a long time. Joined by non-binary film fanatic/influencer Dylan Mentis, tackle the show's first big horror franchise. It seems we like the talk about the thirds in movies series, huh?! We dive into Wes Craven's legacy, his long-lasting influence, and the influence of this series in the horror genre. This was a film that was still around for Blockbuster Video and Hollywood Video days. This film covers trilogies, celebrity, trauma, and with a huge meta-horror influence. Still resident 20 years later the film has grown into starting conversations about the Me Too Movement. There is some serious social commentary but all we love Scream as a series, specifically Scarem 4. And if you haven't seen the film then I won't spoil it here (but we will spoil the series' best cameo). #LetKirbyLive

    My Science Project

    My Science Project

Jumping right back into the underseen films of yesteryear, we are tackling this '80s gem. Part teen drama, mostly sci-fi adventure, part sci-fi action movie, My Science Project has it all for genre nerds. It came out in the height of '80s time travel sci-fi 1985. I jump into the connections the cast with other films of the genre. How this movie does teen of the '80s better than most. And this is the first film the podcast has covered starring Dennis Hopper. It's a milestone that has to be celebrated there. *Note: this new release of the film was done by Kino Lorber.

    Thor: Ragnarok

    Thor: Ragnarok

After a bit of a hiatus, we are back! This is the first dip into the MCU and the bigger money-making film we've covered on the show. Zimmy is back again to help us dive into everything Thor, Loki, and Asgard. Also, there is a surprisingly a lot of Star Wars chatter in this episode. I don't know why to be honest. Maybe because they are both own by Disney? We share our love for the Goldblum. There are no WandaVision spoilers, just a heads up. This is the funniest movie in the MCU catalog and we will give you all the reasons why. Did you ever know there is someone who connects the MCU movies to the Fox Marvel films and it's not Stan Lee? Come listen to find out who that is...

    Hard Candy

    Hard Candy

This episode was recorded the week of the insurrection. Parker is back to co-host this episode on a film that is still controversial, Hard Candy. We go deep diving into the film's hard topics, the way the film plays out, and the interesting way it's a one setting film. And just like the last episode, we go a bit off the rails covering the filmography of Patrick Wilson and Elliot Page. Also, Spider-Man, the Twilight Zone, the A-Team movie, and much more come up. So come inside and take a seat. This episode is gonna a little wild.

    Season One Finale

    Season One Finale

This episode was recorded in 2020. This is the season one finale. On this episode I'm gonna dive into the wild year film had in 2020. There was the pandemic that changed everything. We had a streaming war with a few new streaming services pop up. VOD became a huge deal. And then there were the delays from huge tentpole films to small indie films. Nearly everything was pushed back because of the worldwide pandemic. I'm also going to jump into my honorable mentions plus my top ten films of the year. It is a varied list much like this show. Sit back and take in the last episode of the year that was 2020. I just want to thank all the guests I had on the show this year. You all are great and I hope to have you all back in 2021.

    Lockout

    Lockout

In the second to last episode, I take a dive into a film that I don't has ever left Netflix. This Luc Besson produced (and co-written) sci-action thriller is one of those movies that was made for this podcast. I wouldn't call it an underrated classic but it's a film with a great performance by Guy Pierce and some excellent chemistry from our two leads.  The film is also hip dip in controversy of the not-good kind. But that kind of gives the film some charm and influences. Grab a few beers, some friends, and come with me on this B-movie ride.
