I love “I Love Old Time Radio!”
Why, you ask?
The variety. I have mostly listened to Horror, Suspense and mystery shows on different podcasts or recordings over the years. I was born after the “Heyday” of the medium of OTR, but was 1st exposed to it by a local radio station from my hometown.
My parents would “drag” me down to Dayton Ohio once a month where they attended church. Long boring drive each time for me as a youngster.
But, each time we approached the border, and more importantly radio reach to the Michigan border, each time a Sunday evening, our local station played an old episode of The Shadow!
A welcome knowledge of being close to home, as well as a great radio show!
As I grew older I sought out recordings (cassette tapes at the time, which I still have) of The Shadow and discovered many more programs.
Well, LONG story short, I am an avid follower of the medium now. And “virtual Vinnie” is one of the few podcasts still being broadcast w’ continuing episodes today!
Great, clean sound, (as best as can be expected) and good rotating selection of programs!
Five Stars for you, sir! Keep it up!
Love it!
I love My Friend Irma, and Father Knows Best!😊
Drop the chicken
The podcast would get five stars from me if it weren’t for the stupid chicken thing inserted into every episode.
