130 episodes

In 1994, Jen was sent to a "therapeutic boarding school" in The Middle of Nowhere, Montana. (She had some issues.) That meant a lot of things, but one is that Jen missed two full years of popular culture when she was 16-18 years old. Join Jen and her husband Micah and revisit your old faves as they travel back to the mid-90s to watch, listen to, and talk about what Jen missed.

Nostalgia!

I love the 90’s! Hearing Jen and Micha talk about things I remember from my childhood is so much fun! Best part, they talk about things I don’t remember too! So this show has edutainment value!! Listen to this show! You won’t be sorry!

Updating this review to say See You in the Funny Papers is the best segment ever!

Incredible podcast that should be on everyone’s playlists

I Never Saw That straddles the line between humor and humanity between the discussion of mid-90s pop culture from movies, TV, and music (as well as the fantastic discussion of comics in "See You In The Funny Papers" and discussion of Jen's experience at a boarding school that had some questionable thoughts about therapy and left scars in Jen's psyche that she works through as she discusses it on the podcast. It's made me laugh with Micah and Jen and driven me to tears when Jen discusses her experience. It's a fantastic podcast and one that I'm very happy that exists and I get to listen to it.

I Never Reviewed That!

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this podcast before. INST is a classic. I love listening to the stuff they like and I even love listening to the stuff they don’t like, which is rare for me. They’re also great people. So. Like. Listen to them.
