One of the greatest battles we as Christians fight today is that against pornography. Our youth are becoming exposed at younger and younger ages. Marriages are ending in divorce and heartache. Men and women alike are becoming more and more estranged from God and the only way to freedom is to let Christ into our lives. But what is it that keeps us from letting Christ in? I believe more often than not it is shame. You have a dirty house and you want to straighten it up before you have such an important guest over. Little do you know the reason he came to your house in the first place is to clean. This podcast explores the ways we can let Christ into our lives and allow His grace to change us.

Such an inspired podcast
I recently found Hayden & Savannah’s podcast, and now find time to listen whenever I can. They have such a real & genuine perspective that’s so refreshing, and they have the ability to talk & teach simply & clearly on the tough subject of pornography addiction. They do an incredible job giving inspired encouragement and guidance to people who find themselves in many different places on the path of overcoming porn addiction. Whether you are struggling with the addiction yourself or supporting someone who is, there is such a variety of struggle when it comes to this addiction; they teach well to all those different faucets. So grateful for them & this podcast. It’s been a blessing in my life!
Shame based, non-professional approach
The podcast is so absurd. They induce shame with their gospel ideas and then with the same gospel claim it is the cure. The shame itself leads to porn use.
It prescribes talking to church leaders about sensitive, private, sexual issues to determine “worthiness.” Totally inappropriate and dangerous. It suggests parents should take their kids to a Bishop for help with their porn use: adult men who aren’t trained at all in these issues. Not a therapist or a counselor. Inducing more shame (like taking away temple recommends or the like) are seen as tools to help people overcome their addiction. Shame is the SOURCE - not the cure - of unhealthy habits. Avoid this absurd unscientific podcast.
