I’m sharing my journey of how I stepped away from hormonal birth control after being on it for ten years and dived into a personal liberation adventure as I reconnected with the innate wisdom of my body’s natural cycles and opened myself up to the horrifying thought of “who am I off the pill?”.

As I was editing this I saw that some US lawmakers are looking to ban oral contraceptives (the pill). This is why I believe even if FAM is not for you, it is so empowering to learn about it and have these tools at your disposal if the government decides to take even more reproductive rights away from women.
