    EP-098 - Billy Price with Jose Flores - Fashion and Function for Everyone

    In this week's episode, I had the honor and privilege of interviewing my friend Billy Price, Co-Founder of BILLY Footwear. BILLY Footwear is a company that incorporates zippers that go along the side of the shoes and around the toe, allowing the upper part of each shoe to open and fold over completely. Thus, the wearer can place his or her foot onto the shoe footbed unobstructed. Then with a tug on the zipper-pull, the shoe closes and secures overtop the user's foot. It's simple and easy. We also talk about how Billy fell out of a third story window (head first) breaking his neck, became paralyzed from the chest down, and lost the ability to move much of his body, including his fingers.  We discuss how twenty five feet, twenty years later changed everything and gave birth to BILLY Footwear. This is an episode you definitely don't want to miss.

Before Travis Barnes became a best-selling author, international presenter, founder and franchisor of Journey Fitness 333 he spent a decade of his life in prison for a nonviolent drug offense. Upon returning home to his wife and daughter, he worked hard to grow himself in the fitness industry so he could buy his family a home of their own. Two months after buying their home, Tropical Storm Lee caused it to be flooded to the second floor and forced them to have no other option than to live in a FEMA trailer.
