46 TDoV w/ S. Leigh Thompson
Today's episode is actually a "rerun" of one of my favorites from last year to mark Trans Day of Visibility, with an updated intro. More new episodes to come soon, but I'm still recovering from the AHCA whirlwind.
S. Leigh Thompson talks about the hurdles to diagnosis he's faced as a trans person with complex health issues, healthcare insecurity, getting around the city with mobility limitations, and navigating society with invisible disabilities.

44 March Madness w/ Christopher Snider
I check in with regular guest, Christopher Snider, for our bimonthly podcast freakout about all things Trump, health policy, and how we’re dealing.
We talk more about the state of Obamacare/ACA’s repeal and replace plan, the AHCA (aka Ryancare, Trumpcare, Republicare, etc.) We discuss the bill’s CBO score, another proposed bill flying under the radar that would allow your employer to require genetic testing and have access to those results, ALEC, and his newest podcast project, Mark All That Apply.

Customer Reviews
Thoughtful and Informative
Skilled and thoughtful discussions around challenging, chronic medical conditions. I have been living with SLE for over 10 years and thought I was well-informed and functioning reasonably well, but I have found the discussions informative and has helped further with coping and emotion-related healing.
Compelling podcast about chronic illness
Cara is a powerful and empathetic interviewer!
Just no
I listened to around 3 podcasts and truly enjoyed them until I started hearing the hard left wing undertone about gender, lgbtacronyms/pronouns, planned parenthood and "men" menstruating. I did not come to hear about politics just honest stories from the chronic illness community not liberal bollocks. I unsubscribed.
