Customer Reviews
Disappointing.
For decades, WMNF news was a reliable source for local coverage and investigative journalism that held politicians to account. Sadly, at a time when critical coverage is needed most, this legacy has been squandered by Sean Kínánè’s laziness as a journalist, incompetence as a news director, and utter lack of anything resembling charisma as a radio host. WMNF has the audience, reach, and resources to expose and challenge the reactionary political movements making florida a dystopia, but instead has become nothing more than a stenographer for government press releases. Whatever internal politics ousted Rob Lorei and installed the current management have resulted in toothless “public interest” coverage that makes NPR look radical in comparison. RIP WMNF news.
