    Secrets of Nell Cropsey

    Secrets of Nell Cropsey

There is a house in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Its Queen Anne style Frame sits on Riverside Ave near the Pasquotank river. It stands two stories high, with green and white siding and trim. This house, like so many, holds a dark history. Onlookers of the house claim to see a ghostly figure standing in front of a window of the second story. A young girl, taken before she could truly live life. A girl who has a secret.

Her name is Nell Cropsey, and the town still talks about her story to this day. But no-one truly knows what happened to Nell. The best we can do for her is to tell her story. The good, the bad, and the dark.

Joining Shane to host this season is Justin Evans from Generation Why and The Peripheral.

    Secrets of Nell Cropsey

Nell Cropsey was missing, and fingers were quickly pointed at Jim Wilcox. He was the last person to see her, so it would make sense. But things are never that clear-cut. The following day, Jim appeared in front of the Mayor, but with no solid evidence. Jim was free to go, but with a catch, he was required to see the Mayor every day at 12 until told otherwise.

Too short

C'mon a three parter on Lizzie Borden with no real info? Very little detail, no real research. Skip this pod.

Update, still too short, but I would watch paint dry if Justin was reading to me while I did it. There are times when only a scripted show will do, they are my favorite, and hearing Justin's voice from my never miss an episode Generation Why podcast was so thrilling! Stay Justin!

Brent

Brent story leaves me angry and heartbroken for him and the music/film world. I would give anything to have the power to right this wrong. Brent, always know that your are a gifted composer. You are the person your friends see in you.

Love the host

This podcast has something going for it that a lot of others lack, and that is the utter sincerity and earnestness of its host— it lends A dignity and authenticity it is much appreciated. (I have a great idea! The show should gather up all of the irritating super short episodes and re-release them grouped together in New Omnibus episodes. **see the British podcast called Murder Mile to get an idea of how to do this in a fantastic way.) Best of luck to you, you are doing the work of the Almighty on earth.
