Rex Rivetter: Private Eye is a modern audio drama.

The year is 1955. Tinsel town. The land of make-believe. It's a time of growth in American prosperity. Especially in Los Angeles. Here, dreams are bought and sold.

But there's a seedier side to the City of Angels, the shadows where pimps and narcotics pushers live, where organized crime stands just around every corner with one hand out, and the other wrapped around a roscoe. It's a city full of fancy dames and slick cons, where bookies know the vig, so you better, too.

Some folks call it noir or pulp fiction. But for a private eye named Rex Rivetter, it's home.

Classic Hard-Boiled Detective Stories

Sounds like a classic noir radio show with an added sense of humor. Well written and wonderfully voiced, this is a can't miss for those who like radio drama.

4 1/2 stars‼️✨

With wonderful sound design, direction, writing, and voicing Rex Rivetter: Private Eye makes for a beautiful noir audio drama with an amazing cast of personalized characters.
Dave Rivas’ sound editing really works to make it feel as if you’re there with the characters in the scenes and the voice acting is just ah!👌🏻The writing is very well done to fit the certain characters (such as word choices and personalities) to allow it to feel more real.
DS Entertain’s “side show” for Rex is a key insight into to the minds of the cast and crew members working with and of Downstairs Entertainment. Joe Fejeran is a quality candidate for interviewing those who appear on the show and it’s just overly fun to listen to the them ramble and laugh.
There might be a lot more that I couple say about how much I love the characters and just everything about Rex Rivetter but then we’d be here for quite a long time.
Lastly, don’t ask me to pick a favorite character.😁
I’d post fanart I’ve made if only my parents would let me get a Twitter..
