Why cut things short?

I really enjoy listening but what is the purpose of cutting things short? The topics and content get really interesting and then there are ads and then it’s over. It’s like walking away from a person in the middle of a conversation.

Disappointing anymore

I remember being in to Art Bell so much. i've never been abducted nor saw a UFO never been trampled by Bigfoot or anything like that but it was always entertaining. I remember my girlfriend and I driving up to the mouth of Titus Canyon in death Valley national park and we illegally camped overnight watching the Eastern skies towards area 51 and art bell broadcasting about 30 miles south of us in Pahrump Nevada those were such good memories. we have to be used to the change but we could do so much better. Nowadays People like Peter Davenport are given like two minutes one day a week or so and just seems like they're rushed away at that. Weekends you turn on coast to coast a.m. and it's usually an interview of somebody that wrote a book about some rock band. I think what's most disappointing is theCoast to coast a.m. Somewhere in Time... archived Art Bell that comes on Saturday evenings. It's like they don't even look over the selections... they just look at the date and if it's 20 or 30 years ago that Saturday that's what they throw on the air. There was such good programs back then and you mainly put up open lines on the Saturday archived program shows. Why? Let me tell you something there's nothing worse than open lines if you arent the caller... except open lines 20-30 years ago! I doubt people even read these things I'm not sure why I took the time...
