Facebook Group or Page? Which is best for your brand?
This is a super common question. A listener actually tweeted us and asked this question, I want to start a presence on Facebook and I'm not sure whether a Page or a Group is the best way to go? Listen and find out the answer.

Sales funnels for prospects - got one?
We talked previously in an episode about lead magnets, and we are going to touch on them today. It's where you give a piece of free content away. It can be a guide, a cheat sheet, short video course and an audio something like this podcast in return for an email address and then that email address at that point you as a sales or course creator or a freelancer can use it to either market your services or your product.

Super informative and helpful
One of my favourite things about this podcast is that they address the emotional and psychological challenges of being a freelancer in addition to breaking down the practical steps of getting started (and growing). I work in the arts (as an actor and now a fledgling writer), and I've actually recommended this podcast to some of my colleagues who are often limited in the types of 'Joe jobs' they can get that will accommodate an extremely erratic working schedule, so they need a side hustle to supplement their work as a freelance performer. The episode on accountability totally spoke to me (I'm part Questioner, part Obliger!), as did the one that addressed the loneliness factor. I'm also glad that the issue of health care for people in the US came up - perhaps it's time for some prominent liberal/progressive politicians to start quoting statistics on the inevitable growth of the Gig Economy as a strong argument for single-payer healthcare down here!
Awesome new podcast by Nanci and Julian!
I've known Nanci for years and had her as a guest on my podcast a few years ago. Nanci is one of the best resources out there for knowing the ins and outs of the gig economy. She's done it all, both as a freelancer and as an entrepreneur. I'm so thrilled that she is sharing all of this knowledge and wisdom on a podcast and what a great name! Nanci and Julian have a great on air chemistry, are very personable - you feel like they're just having a conversation with you at a coffee shop. I'm hooked. If you're thinking of starting a side gig or just tired of the corporate rat race, this one is a must listen. Kudos and congrats, Nanci and Julian! -John (host of Moving Forward)
