TARZAN THE UNTAMED (CHAP 10) EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS
Tarzan takes a break from hunting a dinner for Bertha and stops by the native village from which she had recently escaped to find them preparing a cannibal feast for a captive. A branch breaks under him as he is watching, he falls, and soon becomes their intended second course.
Meanwhile, one of the smartest and strongest of the yuong apes guarding Bertha Kircher returns from his forays excited and wanting to tell her something- finally she understands he wants her to accompany him and 8 other apes on a mission to save Tarzan. -
TARZAN THE UNTAMED (CHAP 9)
A British spotter pilot is forced to land his plane in a open area surrounded cby jungle and is soon captured by unfriendly natives. At the same time, not far away, Tarzan and Bertha Kircher are building a protective boma in the jungle in order to get a peaceful night's sleepm while traveling back to British HQ where Tarzan hopes to turn her in as a spy.
They both discover the other can speak English, and so begin to converse with each other. She is soon confronted by Kublat. -
TARZAN THE UNTAMED (CHAP 8)
Tarzan, after deciding to rejoin his former life, has finally reached the hunting ground of the apes, only to discover that a company of native soldiers, recently deserted from the German East Africa Corps, are holding Bertha Kircher captive.

TARZAN THE UNTAMED (CHAPS 6-7) EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS
Tarzan finally regains consciousness from the knock on the head only to find that his old fried Numa the lion has found him and his standing over him. He later reaches Wilhelmsted and catches up with the German officer who he believes killed his wife.

Tarzan comes across the female spy he had seen in both the English and German camps and decices to take her to British headquarters but things don't go excatly as he plans.

Tarzan goes back to Numa the lion's lair for the purpose of subduing and training the half-starved lion to go on a military mission with him. to empty out a series of connected German rifle pits.

I love listening to Jon read Agatha Christie as I try not to fall asleep so I don’t miss any of the much-loved stories of yesteryear.

Jon, I’ve been listening for a very long time, so you understand that I am a fan. It hurts, but it needs to be said….
STOP TRYING TO DO A FRENCH ACCENT
You sound like a Russian who, in turn, is trying to do a French accent and is failing badly.
Since we’re providing constructive feedback, then it should also be said…. you NEED an editor. You frequently mispronounce common English words and you don’t employ the intention of the punctuation. This is especially apparent in the use (or misuse) of periods and commas.
Since you are in the “Big Time” now start raising the level of production values. This is where you will need to focus in order to compete with the professional studios that have entered the podcast industry.
I know it stings to hear criticism. I can only say it is offered to help improve your situation.
There’s a dozen little things that were acceptable when you first started out (yes, I’ve been listening that long) that are now important discriminators to compete successfully at this higher level. A good editor with radio/podcast experience can help you with almost all of them.
Know this too…. The day is coming when you will also have to choose whether you will continue reading versus managing the business versus managing the product (production). Each requires a different set of skills.

I’m a still big fan of all the 1001 series especially 1001 Stories for the Road and it’s multi episode stories. I enjoy being introduced to new stories (like The Mystery of the Blue Train) that I might not have read on my own. Keep up the entertaining pod casts. Thanks Jon - you’re the best!
