Hey guys! I’m Alexander Jarvis, a nomad, startup founder, sometime VC and recovered M&A banker. In this series we’re going to answer a question real founders and investors are struggling with every day. They won’t be generic topics, they’ll be tricky things you need to know, from how to fix your business model, specific aspects of growth marketing, fundraising and pitching investors, to how you track your metrics (that VCs want to know!). I’ve been blogging for a few years at AlexanderJarvis.com building epic founder tools and delving into complicated topics no one writes about. I love helping founders and podcasting is a fab new channel to share the one on mentoring I provide. #askalex

Michigan startup
Alex is an oasis in the desert of the Midwest, it’s hard to find this kind of deep knowledge in middle America. I have been listening to podcasts, reading everything I can find, talking to anyone who has an inkling of startup knowledge and nothing compares to the detail you will get by reading his blogs, taking advantage of all of the free tools and advice on his websites, podcast and YouTube videos. Thank you Alex for putting so much out there for us. Please keep it up, it really helps. Thank you!
Serious Startups Take Note
"Ask Alex" tackles all the questions Start Up Entrepreneurs are asking or should be asking, to succeed. Any new company founder will benefit from Alex's sage advice. Though much of the startup cycle discussed references the tech industry, the principles and topics of each podcast challenge entrepreneurs to think big and broad about planning the life cycle of a startup. Financial modeling forces the question of how a founder's venture will successfully exit (acquisition or IPO), after all the sacrifice and effort is made to create success. Alex has been there many times over, analyzing startups as a former investment banker. He steps you through each phase, with an abundance of free resources on his website. You will be challenged to pick apart your venture start up, once you jump into the mind of Alexander Jarvis. His delivery is hilarious, proper with a dry wit & crass, all in one fell swoop! -- A fan from Austin, Texas.
