Excellent podcast

Among the People is exactly that, a portal into the working of Maryknoll missioners and others who share their stories of life among the marginalized and oppressed peoples of the world, along with others doing God’s work. I particularly like Brother Octavio Duran’s moving remembrance of Saint Oscar Romero, as well as Maryknoll Father Ray Nobiletti’s harrowing account of ministering to people near the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. I’ve enjoyed so many of these that it wouldn’t be fair to continue to single out individual podcast subjects. Each of the many fascinating interviews on this podcast has its own takeaway. I recommend browsing and exploring these accounts of going to the peripheries.
