An excellent podcast, helping me to understand "Crisis" better
I've been listening to "Superman in Crisis" since it began, and, I have to say that I'm enjoying it more and more as it goes on. I am old enough to have read "Crisis on Infinite Earths" at the time it was originally published, and, although I knew at the time that it was a truly important event in DC's history, I didn't always understand what was happening, or even exactly who the main villain was. Host Jon M. Wilson takes the listener, week by week, through the "Crisis" series, and all the Superman appearances at that time (1985 -86). I've come to have a much better understanding of the events of "Crisis", although there are still things about it that I don't especially care for. Nevertheless, Jon is an excellent host for this daunting project, with his hard-earned knowledge of Superman, from his beginning in 1938, through the various Ages and incarnations of the character, and I respect and value his work here. Give it a listen. I think, if you've already read "Crisis on Infinite Earths", or want to fill in a gap in your knowlege, this is an excellent podcast.
All the pouches
Very enjoyable and to be honest, I had no respect for the storytelling of the image 7 at the beginning, but you give it the deep dive it deserves. I still collect Savage Dragon and have the entire run.
Awesome show
Image is what really got me into comics, for better or worse, and this is an excellent trip into those bygone comics. Just listening brings back so many memories. Thank you!
