Long-time listener with reservations

I've been a fan of Bloggingheads since inception and have enjoyed Rosenfield and Maltz Bovy in all their incarnations. However there's an unfortunate irony in their choice of name for their show: so far from chaotic, their greatest weakness is their halting, tentative approach to their subject matter. So often I see the show description and am excited for the subjects they intend to explore only to be frustrated by their recursive and self-conscious and meandering exploration that never really cuts through the top layer. You're not on the Sunday morning shows--stop vacillating and asking permission to speak on your own show: go hard on the issues, actually cut loose and tell us what you think. That's why I'm here.
