Easy to Listen to and Educational

I love how smoothly the content is introduced and discussed. The host has a positive and engaging presence. Most of all, the information comes from experts in the field. Content is introduced in a way that still gives listeners the option to make their own decisions. I only wish this was an ongoing series and continued to make more episodes.

Basic but Solid

I listen to my podcasts on the NPR One app because for the most part, I don't listen to podcasts. All the Life Kit episodes are there for those that are missing them. This one was probably my least favorite because I've long felt that balance and moderation and portion control are pretty solid strategies--and I did feel vindicated there and enjoyed the science based testing of different diets.

Choose the best diet for you is shaming

A comment to mention that Keto and Paleo are often used by those of us who are already experiencing chronic illness and disease, specifically illness like IBS-D for which doctors cannot provide answers or insulin resistance, and have found them to be really successful. A lot of people don’t have a choice on whether they end up on a regimented diet! It seems like the narrators want to shame these extreme dieters and deem them “not fun”, but should consider those with diseases who don’t have a choice!
