FAP-280 Suzume - CJ from Anime Anon and #TokyoTreat Help Us Save The World!
This week we have a very special guest from Anime Anonymous CJ! He joins both Jack and Rick as they talk about the movie giving a different view on it while also providing some clarification on some things. The conversation that they all have is solid with views and opinions on it being different on interpretations of key aspects of the movie. Overall though the movie was good, and it is worth the watch at least once.
Next week's choice is OshiNo Ko. Have you seen next week's choice or one of the previous ones? Let us know what you thought of it or recommend what we should watch next!

FAP-279 Patema Inverted - Your Up Is My Down
We get all flipped around in this week's choice as we talk about a movie that literally has people and items being inverted. With a story like there they do a good job of leading you to a way of understanding the differences in between the 2 groups and also really play to how some people truly are and is that focus on people being afraid of the unknown with those who follow them and with those who are willing to venture forward. This movie is truly one that is worth at least 1 watch.

FAP-278 Wolf's Rain - Oh Look A Flower Maiden
This week we talk about Wolf's Rain a solid choice to be sure but unless you watch the 4 OVAs (which are actually episodes) you will not get a conclusion to the series. Regardless you are given a solid story with some character growth, and it is one that is well worth a watch at least once.

FAP-277 Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement - With Marty Stu and Mary Sue
Rick is back! And we talk about a lighthearted anime that left is feeling empty inside with such an open ending and nothing, but plot armor can help us. Much like this anime the level of plot in it is another lever. It seems like not matter what happens or what the main character does they always come out on top.

FAP-276 Starship Troopers (1988) - Bad Story Bad Animation
This week Jak talks about the Starship Troopers not to be confused with the movie. This anime came out in 1988 holds truer to the Book then the Live Action movie did. This Anime was poorly done one where the characters were dry. The Character development was poor, and it takes several episodes to build up to a climax that ultimately never comes. This honestly is a show that should be avoided in Jack's opinion.
Next week's choice is Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement. Have you seen next week's choice or one of the previous ones? Let us know what you thought of it or recommend what we should watch next!

FAP-275 Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop - TokyoTreat Is Way Better.
This week's choice is about 2 teenagers growing up and struggling with their self-image or social anxieties. Things a lot of people still struggle with even as adults making is easily relatable. The animation is bright and vibrant, so it does not really fall into an art style that Jack cared for and he felt that it really detracted from the movie itself. This was a movie that had great potential, but it floundered on so many fronts.

Customer Reviews
Love it
The hosts review a good blend of both older and more current anime. Very insightful and fun to listen to. I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen.
The hosts review content they haven’t consumed
Just listened to the Actually, I Am, and Hellsing episodes, the hosts didn’t seem to have any clue what was going on and were just reading Internet cliff notes about things that didn’t happen in the shows.
