Love Jones (1997)
In this episode we get into Love Jones starring Nia Long and Larenz Tate. Most people would name this movie as one of their favorite movies that depicts Black Love and I would have to agree.

Nicki Minaj Corner: The Bad Guy
In this episode we get into the narrative that Nicki is "beefing" with other girls for no reason at all. I still don't see any of it as beef fr. She’s a rapper and all the speculation of who she’s had bars for has not been confirmed 🤷🏾♀️. It’s really damned if she do, damned if she don’t so why y’all mad she embraces the bad guy role? People don’t know what they want from her exactly. Let’s talk about it.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
Undeniably one of the albums that defined the 90s and changed the landscape for women in rap forever. Lauryn Hill had the beauty, brains and capability to fearlessly rhyme about her life and experiences which set her apart from any other artist before her. Her performance in Sister Act 2 as Rita Watson in 1993 showcased her acting skills as it was her movie debut that proved acting was something she could conquer as well. Fast forward to 2023, this album is still one of the best albums and can be found on most music listeners favorite albums of all time list.

Life (1999)
In this episode we get into some of Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence's best work. Getting these too together for the movie Life was the best casting decision ever. The effortless way they are able to go back and forth with their comedic banter is hilariously appealing and makes this movie some of their best work. The movie tells a story about two men who met one unfortunate night that changed their lives forever. Wrongfully accused of murder Ray and Claude are charged with Life in prison.

Nicki Minaj Corner: Red Ruby Da Sleeze
Uh ohhhh we back with a new NMC episode. I definitely wasn't expecting to be discussing a new song this soon but here we are! In this episode we get into the new song Nicki dropped and some of the bars. Nicki did a Queen Radio episode and officially announced her new label and the artist she has signed. Big tingz are happening and I'm so here for it. I also get into my thoughts on monthly listeners and how that stat doesn’t really hold that much weight for a legacy artist like Nicki Minaj. I think it means more for a new artist than someone like JayZ or Nicki.

The writing’s on the wall
Welcome to season 5! This episode is about Destiny's Childs sophomore album that came out in 1999. In this episode I will be getting into The Writings on The Wall by Destiny’s Child. One of the best selling groups of all time. The album sold over 130,000 when it first was released in July of 1999. By the end of 2001 the album was certified 8x platinum.
