Discussion | Social entrepreneurship at IKEA
At IKEA we want to create a better everyday life for as many people as possible – including the millions who are vulnerable and marginalised – enabling a more equal and inclusive society where a decent job is a natural right. IKEA Social Entrepreneurship is one way of making this a reality.
By backing and working with social entrepreneurs, whose business ideas are based on making societies and people thrive, IKEA contributes to creating jobs and better everyday lives around the world.
In this episode we speak to Partner Development Leader Ann-Sofie Gunnarsson who works with artisans from some of the most remote parts of the planet to give IKEA customers the chance to purchase unique homewares with a greater purpose. We talk to Ann-Sofie about the IKEA Social Entrepreneurship programme, the importance of ensuring consistent and sustainable jobs and how the programme is still thriving during times of change and uncertainty.

Best sleep podcast
The sleep podcast episodes are so underrated!
I love it
Update. I like the new trend too. It is so nice to hear nice stories as I sit on my IKEA chair or lie on my IKEA sofa.
I cannot remember how I stumbled onto this, but I absolutely love it. I have saved some episodes for listening to as I go to sleep, but I also try and say the Swedish words and try to learn.
The Play episodes are brill. Please keep going.
Keep doing what you do (living in a stupid hot spot for the virus) I keep it safe but love to hear from you to remind me of a wider world.
More sleep podcasts please!
Please explore more of the catalog beyond the bedroom and bath. I would love to hear my beloved Raskog and so many of my other IKEA pieces, but my purchases have been from other sections in the catalog
