501: Using a livestream countdown timer
Many live videos and live video podcasts do start with a livestream countdown timer, which looks like this and runs at the top of the show.
But, are they needed, and if so, how do we create them? That's what I discuss here and in this article: http://christophtrappe.com/livestream-countdown-timer

500: Do you have to be in or out of your comfort zone to create good content?
Welcome to Episode 500. I appreciate that everyone is still listening. If you haven't yet, please consider leaving a review on whatever platform you are listening to me.
Today, for Episode 500, I want to talk about the comfort zone.
You’ve probably heard the phrase that we have to stretch our comfort zone. Stretch that comfort zone to be successful in something new. it might even feel uncomfortable, the experts say.
But why does it have to? Why can’t our comfort zone evolve? Does it really have to feel uncomfortable?
I don’t think we have to be uncomfortable to create good content. Sure, when I was a public safety reporter, interviewing families of murder victims wasn't comfortable for anyone involved. Interviewing executives or celebrity influencers might also not lead to a few jitters here and there. And what about trying new content types? Certainly, it won't feel natural from the get-go. The first time I was reporting on live TV, it was weird. No different when I started podcasting or livestreaming the podcast.

Customer Reviews
Very Professional
Christopher Trappe produces a well-run show. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to ask the questions his guests want answered. So check it out!
Always Insightful
As both a listener and a guest, I appreciate Christoph's approach to podcasting. Without exception, the high production value plus Christoph’s level of preparedness translates into a passionate, insightful conversation. That means each discussion isn't a rehash of the same thing you've heard on other podcasts. Instead, Christoph helps his guests did deep to find real value for his listeners. Well done, Christoph!
Top notch show and host!
I’ve been a guest on several leadership podcasts and Christoph not only runs a tight ship, he’s also a great host and interviewer. The content and shows he produces are so on point and valuable. You want to listen to every episode!
