Motherhood, Music, and the Domestic Church — with Kathleen LeBlanc

Motherhood, Music, and the Domestic Church — with Kathleen LeBlanc

"Whenever we journey with people to Christ, we're allowing them to unfold and to bloom, and we do that in such a beautiful way as mothers." Kathleen LeBlanc is a talented singer and worship leader. She and her husband Jesse have a band called Found Together, where they share their gifts of music with listeners and help them encounter Christ through music. Alongside her identity as a musician, Kathleen is also a mother with some wonderful insights on motherhood. Through her own experiences, Kathleen has become convicted in the fact that all women are called to be mothers in some way, regardless of what their vocation is. In this episode, Kathleen and I talk about her charism of music and leading worship, the domestic church, and the universal call for women to be mothers.

Working in Partnership with God — with Claudine Noel

"I think when God puts an idea in your heart or has a purpose for your life, He gives you the resources to make it happen." When she looks back on her journey, Claudine Noel can see the ways in which God's hand was at work. Claudine was raised Protestant and was on course to practice obstetrics. In the midst of a difficult season, the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel and a walk through a garden was the start of a journey that led to her conversion to the Catholic faith. Today, Claudine works as a physician in preventative and occupational medicine and helps women get unstuck through her coaching practice, Feminine Genius Coaching. In this episode, Claudine and I talk about her story of conversion back to the Catholic faith, what drove her to practice medicine, and how she helps women become unstuck with the help of the feminine genius.

Planting Seeds That Bear Good Fruit — with Rachel Smith

"It's so wild when you say 'yes' and you let Him in and you just let Him lead, because His plans are so much greater than our own." As Rachel Smith went through her young adult life, she thought that she had everything figured out. But she noticed was that while things were going well in her life, there was still something missing. It wasn't until she was on a packed commuter train on the way to work when she started asking the tough questions. This led her to seek truth about the Catholic faith that she grew up in. When she discovered God in a personal way, Rachel saw that God had big plans not only for her life but for the lives of those around her. In this episode, Rachel and I talk about what led her to ask the tough questions, the origins of her podcast To Grow Good, and how a conversation with her grandfather helped her to see God’s greater purpose in life.
