Compelling Piece of History/Wonderful Storytelling

Like many of my family members and friends, I knew nothing about the burning of 21 African American boys in Arkansas in the late 1950s.

I was a student learning for the first time (via this podcast) about a major part of U.S. history that was nearly erased. Listening to family members and friends recount losing their loved ones first to the system and some eventually to their graves was horrific.

It is sad these family and friends still have no closure.

CNN producers did a wonderful job introducing this story to the world.

Not only important... compelling

I want to say this podcast tells an important story from history, and it does... but I don't want it to seem like "you have to eat your vegetables" either. It's a compelling story told well, that also happens to be an important one.

Excellent Podcast

This podcast was excellent. This important story made me both sad & mad. The State of Arkansas should pay for the bodies to be exhumed & the DNA testing. That is the least they can do for these families. Thank you for bringing this story to light.
