    Highlights from this week's episode include:
    Renewed inflation concerns have caused Treasury yields to buoy up by the most in more than three weeks. The 10-Year rose approx. +11 basis points from Friday’s close and is currently at 2.91%.
    Agencies have undergone another pricing reduction to their grids that reflected an approximate 10-basis point decrease on spreads for higher-leverage loans nearing their 80% LTV ceiling, and a 5-basis point decrease for deals that are in the lower end of their range at leverage of 55%-65%.
    The Queue for HUD production offices continues to shrink, resulting in more favorable time frames for Processing FHA insured loans.

    Life Companies have reported mixed feedback this week in quoting and closed business as spreads have increased for attractive lower- leverage loans (60-65% LTV) by approximately 5-10 basis points to a range from 1.60% to 1.90%.
    The agencies provided pricing reductions for sub-$6 million loans to increase their deal flow for 5–50-unit properties. HUD is providing borrowers attractive construction loan programs with potentially less long-term risk.
    The HUD 221(d)(4) program can remove many of the uncertainties of building Multifamily projects in this financial climate.
