    Suzan Galluzzo

    Suzan Galluzzo

This week on Finding Your Bliss, Life Coach and Bliss Expert Judy Librach is joined by Suzan Galluzzo!

Suzan Galluzzo is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), fitness expert, and mother of two. She is the creator of the Best of You program — an online transformation program with over 1,000 active clients nationwide and 11,000+ client successes. What started as an early passion for fitness and health evolved into a life-long commitment to helping celebrities, politicians, working professionals, and stay-at-home moms transform their lives by healing their bodies from the inside out.

Suzan got her start with an aerobics and weightlifting course as a freshman in high school. Although she graduated from university with a degree in accounting and held numerous corporate positions, fitness and health were always close. In 2010, she entered her first bikini competition. After becoming pregnant during her second competition, she turned to fitness and nutrition to treat her postpartum depression. This was when she discovered a calling to help other women too.

One after the next, Suzan taught new moms how to eat clean and train consistently until they felt better than they did pre-pregnancy. She cherished the deep friendships made and began to build a like-minded community. Through hard work, additional schooling, and compassion, Best of You was born and she found worldwide success. For this, Suzan was nominated 2021 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner in the BMO Entrepreneurs category by the WXN Network.

Today, Suzan spends her time giving back to the community. She recently founded the Pantry Project, a two-hour workshop teaching parents how to eliminate processed foods from their kitchens to raise healthy children who are equally educated about nutrition. Suzan is using her growing platform to teach fitness and health to everyone — including children, parents, and strangers who stumble across her activities on social media.

For 21 years families across Canada have been singing and dancing along with Sonshine and Broccoli, the Juno-nominated duo from Toronto who knows how important it is for children to have music they can call their own. Described as "brilliant performers whose music and energy are infectious" by Chris Kennedy of the Royal Ontario Museum, best friends Lisa Sonshine and Brock Burford have always made their fans feel like part of the family with their upbeat and interactive performances. Now a mother to two boys herself (Zade and baby Barryn), Sonshine saw during the pandemic how important it is to reassure kids and let them know every day that they are enough. With their sixth album "Born to be Brave", Sonshine and Broccoli use new songs and exciting collaborations with recent Juno Award Winners Kairo McLean and Kirk Diamond to build confidence, celebrate differences, and encourage kids to allow their own unique star to shine bright.

Sonshine and Broccoli met while they were both attending the Musical Theatre program at Sheridan College. At first, they brought together their voices and Broccoli's guitar to run music programs for young families, but they soon fell in love with writing original songs to entertain the youngest music fans and parents alike. Since then Sonshine and Broccoli have grown into leaders of Canada's music scene for children, releasing five previous albums and performing at festivals, exhibitions, and community events in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and all across Ontario. Erica Diamond and Melissa Lauren

    Erica Diamond and Melissa Lauren

This week on Finding Your Bliss, Life Coach and Bliss Expert Judy Librach is joined by Erica Diamond!

Teaching people globally how to prioritize self-care, Erica Diamond is a Certified Life Coach and Certified Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Lifestyle and Parenting Correspondent on Global TV Montreal, Professional Speaker, Host of The Erica Diamond Podcast, Course Creator of Busy To Bliss and The Burnout Rescue Blueprint, Author of the new bestselling release List Your Goals Journal, and Founder & Editor-In-Chief of the Award-Winning Lifestyle Platform EricaDiamond.com® (previously WomenOnTheFence.com®).

Erica Diamond has been named to the coveted list of The Top 20 Women in Canada, FORBES Magazine’s Top 100 Sites for Women and a Profit Hot 50 Canadian Company. Erica is a busy mom of two teen boys and a die-hard music lover.

Also on the program, we have singer/songwriter Melissa Lauren!

Melissa Lauren wants to be heard. And not just because of My Voice, her dazzling new jazz-pop crossover gem. The singer-songwriter’s third album is her most accomplished to date, and yes, you bet she wants it to be heard. But her mission is larger than that. As Lauren explains, if there’s an overarching theme to the new album’s 11 songs —a mix of originals and thoughtfully selected covers all expertly helmed by producer, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Emond (Tyler Shaw, Alessia Cara, Matt Dusk) — it’s “the boundaries that get in the way of communicating.”

And nothing brings the boundaries quite like a lockdown triggered by a global pandemic, during which Lauren and her musician husband Nathan Hiltz were marooned at home together, forced to contemplate themselves and each other as the comfortably distracting routines of daily life evaporated. Yet by candidly distilling the experience into her songwriting on My Voice, Lauren has created an album that serves as a musical touchstone for anyone struggling to articulate the challenges, good and bad, of managing close relationships during difficult times. Call it a sonic roadmap.

Two previous solo albums, 2015’s Your Mess and 2012’s The Other Side, gathered universal acclaim, leading to marquee performances across Canada and around the world, including (but not limited to) Folk Alliance International, the Halifax International Jazz Festival, and the New Skool Rules Festival in the Netherlands, plus concerts in Eastern Europe. Additionally, her voice was featured on five tracks by Montreal electronic producer Hibernate, one included on a compilation by British dance pioneer Paul Oakenfold. Yet despite these many disparate potential avenues for success, Lauren’s focus remains squarely on her own voice, brilliantly showcased on My Voice.
