I started the Driven Young Podcast as a way to help educate and inspire the younger generation. There are plenty of amazing podcasts out there but I find very few tailors their content to those in high-school and uni. Even the ones that claim they do seem to go off track and fail to keep their message clear and simple for the younger generation to understand.I believe our world is changing so fast, the current education system can’t keep up and is left teaching us old and outdated skills no longer relevant in the workplace. This podcasts explores what I believe should have been taught in school and aims to help people realise the world is different from when their parents grew up and we must make relevant decisions based on the world we live in currently not the world people used to live in.

Welcome back to the Driven Young Podcast and today I am joined by an absolute legend Benny Crook.
Last year I dislocated my shoulder playing goalkeeper in five aside and Ben was one of the fantastic nurses who knocked me out and put my shoulder back in. Whilst I was high on drugs we bonded over the fact we both have a podcast and I invited him on the podcast.
We recorded an episode many months ago and it was terrific but I sadly lost the footage. I was gutted but decided to reinvite him on the show and it was a great chat.
Ben is a clinical nurse educator with over ten years of experience working in emergency departments. He runs a podcast called edjam, a medical podcast aimed at drs , nurse and paramedics.. he is a motivated individual with a heart for getting try to encourage those around him and teach others.
Ben's energy is through the roof and he is a living and breathing example of being Driven Young. This will be an invaluable episode for anyone in the medical field or thinking about entering, but it is also such an inspiring episode for anyone else as well.
As per usual please DM me on Instagram and Please please please DM Ben. If you have never messaged someone from a podcast please message ben, one message will make his entire week. He lives to help people, so I know it would mean the world to him. Make sure you sign up for my 20-week challenge if you haven’t already all the links to everything I do are in the descriptions.

Tilly is a Sex worker who has been in the industry for close to ten years. She also has a degree in History, has spoken out about sex worker rights, done an Amazing TED talk and is now a published author!
This is a bit different from a normal Driven young episode. Of course, it is educational and professional but I know I have young listeners out there so I wanted to make it clear in the intro.
This episode is all about the sex work industry. Tilly has been in the industry for close to ten years and she shares her story about how she got into it, what she has learned, how she wrote a book about it, the benefits and downside of sex work, her opinion on only fans and just an overall understanding of what that world is like.
This was a very interesting episode for me as I know next to nothing about this industry and space and I felt like I was going in very cold. I learned a lot and have a new perspective on workers in the industry and hopefully, you enjoy this episode.
There is some swearing, and we are covering topics such as sex and sex trafficking so please keep that in mind, but as I said this is still an educational episode.

Welcome back to the Driven Young podcast and today I am joined by Pro surfer Cooper Chapman.
Cooper recently had me on his podcast called Good Humans, and we really connected so I invited him onto the show.
Cooper is a professional surfer and has been surfing since he was 10 years old. Having achieved incredible results as a surfer he also runs a company called the good human factory and focuses on providing mental health education to young Australians via school workshops.
In this conversation we discuss Cooper's upbringing as a pro surfer in Australia, why he got into mental health education, the importance of meditation, gratitude, getting out of your comfort zone and how to sharpen your claws every-time you get knocked down. And of course much much more.
