Is sugar free truly sugar free?

Is sugar free truly sugar free?

If you had two products side by side and one said sugar free while the other had sugar in it, which one would you choose? Majority of people automatically go for sugar free products because, well, sugar makes you gain weight right? What if the process of making something non-caloric artificially sweetened was worse for your health than eating regular sugar, would that change your mind?
In this episode I will explain the reactions that are caused from eating "sugar free" vs regular sugar, and which one is "best" for you.

    Key Takeaways:
How non-caloric artificial sweeteners manipulate the body, but still increase insulin Where natural sugar is found and is sugar free truly better for you Gaining weight is not caused from sugar, it's caused by the amount of calories ingested from these products

Yes, Protein, carbs, or fats can make you gain weight

Yes, Protein, carbs, or fats can make you gain weight

What is the route cause of weight gain? It's simply being in a surplus for an extended period of time, whether it's planned/organized or done without knowing. I want you to think of calories as simply energy. If your body is burning a good amount of energy in a day, but still has extra energy that hasn't been used, the body will store that energy (creating fat).
A lot of people do abuse the carbohydrate macro which then leads to making people believe that carbs are the issue. Carbs are found in many more products at a higher volume than the other two macros (proteins & fats). Eating to much of anything can cause weight gain, but understanding what YOUR body needs and how it all works together for health & progress will create your success.
    Key Takeaways:
What is weight gain: The breakdown of how weight gets gained over a period of time The science behind losing weight to fast when it took time to gain the weight Where are these macros and in what products do they stay in. No one is going to make you do this but YOU

No one is going to make you do this but YOU

How many times have you told yourself, "I can't. I just can't do this"? I'll be honest, I've said this many times in my life, career, education, and personal development. In fitness, there has been more quitters than people who have achieved their goals against all odds. We are always looking for the easy way out. The quickest way to achieve goals. Or because someone is doing something that works for them, we wanna jump on that wagon with them. Then when it comes time to work, this stuff is just "to hard".
In today's episode I will share the truth about fitness and how you need to open your eyes!
    Key Takeaways:
Stop comparing yourself and focus on your journey Just because progress isn't coming fast enough does not mean you aren't achieving results every day The hard truth about this journey is.........

Why your "diet" just isn't working for you

Why your "diet" just isn't working for you

If it took 5 years to put on 80lbs, would 80lbs come off in 2 weeks? Media always tries to teach weight loss as this simple thing that everyone can follow when in reality it's wrong. It sets us up for failure either now or in the future. Don't get me wrong, weight loss is simple and understand nutrition is simple. It's like that saying, "give a man a fish, feed him for the night, teach the man to fish and feed him for life". Once you learn what a carb, fat, and protein is, you will truly understand what your body needs vs wants, and how to eat for health, performance, progress, ect. You would finally be in control.
    Key Takeaways:
How different body types will react to different meal plans How some "fits all" diet plans can help you, guide you, make you gain more weight, or not help you at all Weight is gained over a period of time. This is the same with weight loss, but how can you sustain it

Great podcast, Great trainer, Great person

I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Matt in June of last year and have been listening to his podcasts for a few months now. From the moment I met him, I was able to see how passionate he was about fitness but specially he was passionate about helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle and overcome anything that kept them from getting there in the past. Myself included. I have been training with him since then and every time I meet with him he has something positive to say about fitness, health, or enjoying life in general. Listening to his podcasts I feel that he is talking to me even on the days that I don’t train. He is full of information and is always looking to expand his knowledge. With his podcasts he found a way to communicate what he knows and his passion to not only the people around him, but the people around the world. Thank you for everything you do!
