Just started listening! So chill and relaxing

I love any and all mythology, and Godyssey delivers! Intimate and theatrical, prepare to be swept up in ancient stories that don’t feel so old after all! Well worth a listen

Tomorrow, I worry I’ll be Ancient

It can be really difficult to make a myth feel alive for someone that doesn’t have a ton of historical perspective. I love the stories I’ve read of CuChulainn and Finn MacCoumhail and other Celtic legends. But reading the myths themselves is a daunting task for me. It can seem dry, sparse, and without context. Greg breathes life into them. He makes the drama accessible. He makes it feel real.

I enjoy some other podcasts, like Jason Weisser’s “Myhts and Legends”. While the more playful and sarcastic approach of that podcast has its charms, I greatly prefer Greg Wright’s dramatic approach.

Great sound effects and music selection. Good sound leveling, so you’re not constantly adjusting the volume up and down.

If you’re at all interested in world religions or mythology, I highly reccomend this podcast!
