This is an essential show to understand the history of America’s role in the world. It’s also funny and well produced.

Incredible, Engaging, Must-Listen

I’ve listened to both seasons twice now, and each listen I come away with more to appreciate! The subjects are fascinating, the reporting is insanely in-depth, and I love the inclusion of news coverage/radio clips. Hosts have a very satisfying cadence and manage to interject some humor into some pretty troubling historical topics. The editing and music are also spot-on. A particular highlight for me is the background of Lee Harvey Oswald in the penultimate episode of season 2. That whole digression is literally a masterclass in podcasting. Cannot recommend enough.
