What society needs now

Just discovered this podcast, while searching for interviews of Dr Marisa Franco… the topic of developing and nurturing friendships post pandemic- in such a polarized world- is so very important.
Many good conversation topics, can’t wait to listen to more.

Differences between abusive behavior and disagreements

In the episode “keep your marriage, ditch the unhappiness” the guest speaker shared a story of her husband being verbally belittling to her and the follows it up with how HER response was an over reaction.

It’s very detrimental when Christian programming does not hold men accountable for their abusive and belittling behavior towards their spouse. That is not “normal” arguing or differences of opinions. It perpetuates the cycle of abuse. Disappointing and unhelpful episode.
