56 episodes

Mark Steadman has a lot going on. He helps people make podcasts (that sound better than this one), he writes fiction for kids and adults, he edits a newsletter, he improvises, he plays the piano (pretty well) and the guitar (very badly). His mum would say he's running out of pies to keep fingers in.

Join Mark on a journey through life’s gentle inclines, and try not to get too tangled up in tangents.

This is the latest in Mark’s continued exploration of the journal podcast, so if you don’t know or like him, you’d probably be happier listening to something a little more considered.

But if you’re up for lacing up and heading out, Mark will always be glad of your company.

How I plan to make £10,000 a month

It started with me having some down time and brainstorming around goals. It finished with a new higher ticket community offering and a bold sales target.
By this time next year, I plan to be making £10,000 a month. Follow along to see how I succeed; or fall on my arse.

"The Lighthouse" is now "Life in Stride"

I'm back to let you know that The Lighthouse is returning in its new form, Life in Stride. Inspired by friends 'n pod colleagues Chris Kenworthy and Rachel Wheeley – among countless others who've trodden the path before me – I'm lacing up my shoes, popping on a lapel mic, and heading outdoors to put the world to rights, with you by my side... if you'll have me.
If you'd like to continue walking with me, you don't need to do anything. You'll get new missives from me as soon as they're ready.

    Back soon

This is the one in which I make no firm plans to stop or resume the podcast. Likely you won’t hear from me for a couple of weeks, but it’s unlikely that this is the end of The Lighthouse… there’s still work to be done!

Working from a sunny Floridian hellhole

I remember being “trapped” in Florida in 2010, and discovering my favourite book trilogy.
Two more episodes after this, then we’ll knock it on the head so this doesn’t becmoe the Mark Steadman Vanity Podcast. Remember, you can still have your say in making the show work for you.

Friendly, Funny & Absolutely Heart-Warming

Mark’s voice has a soothing nature to it, as does his willingness to laugh at himself - it makes me feel less alone in how I view the world, & feel my way through it. His candid, cheery perspective is a ray of hope that I look forward to many others enjoying.
