Good Podcast
This is a good listen, and Wayne is excellent. Paul Parker, though, is antiquated in his views and lacks an understanding of modern masculinity, particularly in football. His football views are top notch, but his analysis of physicality and his perceived lack of toughness among modern footballers is blatantly biased. For a player that had the end of his career largely derailed by injury, one might expect him to have a little bit more sympathy for players protecting themselves from getting hurt. Paul was a great player and can be a good reference point for analysis, but this podcast would surely be better off with more of Wayne’s knowledge and less of Paul’s complaining.
It has got potential
The expertise that Paul Parker is great and his analysis is super insightful, but I’d recommend that you tone down the negativity. I’m not asking you to sugarcoat bad performances or talk up the players when they aren’t playing well, but try to be a little more objective and more of a journalist. Anyone can have an opinion and negativity is what people often want to hear, so don’t choose the easy way out.
Fantastic
My go to podcast for all thing United. Be it Barton/Parker or Barton/Barclay this podcast is top of my list. Keep up the fantastic work.
