    Hello Coiners,

We need to hit pause on the schedule for what we hope will be just a few weeks - there's some life stuff, as there is from time to time in...life.

As a thank you for what we hope will be your patience, we took what we think was an extra fun, interesting "Eminently Chewable" out from behind the Patreon paywall. We take another look at Far Away Places - we talk about the flashback, as promised, but we also do a "what if" the episode was just a normal, non-Rashomon episode?

We thank you as always for your support. We'll be back soon.

Everyone gets a little more, and a little less, than they bargained for.  Don is killed with kindness by the ACS.  Roger and Marie need to get a room.  Megan gets a dose of reality.  And Sally just knows it's dirty.

Peggy and Abe and Heinz and Ginsberg, then we start over and just let it melt on your tongue, then we start over and head to Howard Johnson's. Gotta love them clams.

This one is, by all objective measures, a mood.

This is one of those episodes, y'know? What stood out for you - the driver's ed classes, the literal punches thrown, "Cynthia!" or Don fixing the sink?

Regardless, remember to always, always, always check for your gum.

    Enjoy!

True Crime is in the air, and everyone's feeling it, one way or another - especially the girls and women. No one is safe. Dan and Roberta discuss Mystery Date, and a bit about their family histories.

Great show

This podcast is worth your time! I’m rewatching along with Dan and Roberta and I find their conversations to be insightful and very entertaining. Their Patreon has great tidbits as well. Definitely check them out!

They Coined It

Fabulous look back at Mad Men from our Pandemic Era. I love discovering new ways (such as this podcast) to stay connected to the series and the characters. Their deep dive analysis is like dissecting great literature. The hosts reveal so many layers and levels to each episode as well as the entire series that routinely give me satisfactory “aha moments.”

Ugh

Really wanted to like but Roberta is just exhausting. No idea why Dan puts up with the constant pedantic nitpicking and undermining.
