With the expansion of social media platforms like podcasting and Youtube. Content Creators have been able to create huge audiences.
However, many times these creators are looking to monetize the audiences they have built over many years, and they have guests on their platform that pay them a fee to get access to the content creator's audience but never disclose this practice to the audience.
The practice is often viewed as illegal, and the government has a term for it, It's called Payola. We will explore this topic so people will not fall victim to this practice.
Today we are sitting down with Jayson Thornton, CFP, EA AKA Pocket Watching with JT  talk about how this financially impacts audiences without them knowing it.

A great investment

Every time I listen to Camari I learn something new and valuable. And unlike a lot of self-proclaimed finance “gurus”, Camari actually knows his stuff and has put it into practice.
