Parenting Teens

The three ideas are also used in sales. I have used them throughout my career. They work. What you did not really touch on is when you use the first technique, “listen”, what do you do if your teen says nothing for a long period of time. The last conversation we had with our grandson it was 4 to 5 minutes with zero input from him.

Perfect Timing!

Thank you for this pod cast, I found it at the perfect time. The night prior we had a huge argument in our house regarding our sons “laziness” to clean up what looked like the aftermath of a tornado in his room. It didn’t go very well and emotions were very high on all side. I spent this morning researching how I could do better and teenage depression. Then I found this pod cast and I sat on my porch crying listening as it helped me understand what I needed to do to help my son and work towards a better avenue of getting things accomplished with regards to his room, school and football. Thank you again!
