5 stars
Brian Scott. Horror movie fanboy on twitter loving this podcast. Loved hearing father and son podcast join y’all for wait until dark.
Brilliant idea; excellent execution
I’m a disabled person who spends a lot of time on advocacy & activism. I’m also a huge horror nerd. Until I found this show, I’d never thought much about how the two intersect. But as AnDread and his hosts amply demonstrate, this particular vein is a rich one indeed. And boy, do they mine it.
AnDread’s guests range from professors to disabled folks working in filmmaking, other podcasters to regular joes who just love the genre. It’s educational and thought-provoking without being dry.
Start with Hereditary or Disability in Slashers, and make sure you don’t miss the phenomenal episode on Freaks.
Thought provoking
The host and his guests provide a fresh take on horror films from classic to contemporary. Andrew is perceptive and considerate.
Highest recommendation.
