Steven Battelle - The Red Special Guitar Podcast - Episode 27

Hello there 👋 Welcome to the home of the Red Special Guitar Podcast. Today we have the pleasure of the company of the acclaimed singer, songwriter, lead guitar player and all-round nice guy Steven Battelle. Steven is a professional musician and original member of his band Lost Alone, who have toured all around the world. Stevens most recent work has been touring with McFly with his band Lost Alone as a warmup act. McFly had asked them to tour as Steven had worked with them for their recent Power to Play album. I met Steven at the Starfleet Launch earlier this year and after we realized who we each were we exchanged information and arranged for Steven to come on to the podcast. As you will see and hear Steven sites Queen as his inspiration for getting in to music.

Today we have the pleasure of the company of the most wonderful - Manuel Angelini. Hello there 👋 Welcome to the home of the Red Special Guitar Podcast.
Today we have the pleasure of the company of the one and only Tim Staffell. Tim was friends with Brian May and Roger Taylor and was in a number of bandswith Brian and Roger adj as 1984 and most famously Smile. Tim chose to leave for a solo career and this led to Tim’s friend Freddie Mercuy joining May and Taylor to form Queen. Tim and I take a deep dive in to his memories from those early years and where his career has taken him. From Music to Film Making and back to Music. This really is a fascinating conversation and a great insight in to Tim's life and career. Tim's third solo album, 'Wayward Child' is coming out this year.

Great, informative and ‘fun’ for a podcast

Perfect for every Brian May/Red Special ‘fan’. Would love to see Marco G. Di Marco or possibly Tristan Avakian on the podcast! Great stuff!
