    081_Why hobbies are so important.

    Hello everyone.

I find it quite troubling, that we live in a world in witch some people claim hobbies aren't so important, or not having hobbiees doesn't matter too much.

It's the question as to how you regenerate yourself with distracting activities.

But I don't think that anyone should just look for pure distractions. And I think I might be able to explain why.

    Cheers!

    080_Ghostbusters Frozen Empire

well well, I think we need a nigger trap.

Goes this movie tanked pretty bad so far. It's not completely terrible, it has pretty good ideas that were taken from the cartoons back in the day. But heck, the execution of this film is awfull.

Too many characters for sure, the movie doesn't seem to know which direction to go, nor what kind of mood to create. It has great ideas overall, but that potential is just wasted due to idiotic plot holes.

This could very well be the last Ghostbusters movie we will ever see...

No cheers this time from me...

    079_Francisco Ibáñez

Francisco Ibáñez was during my teenage years my absolute favorite artist in thr world. My favorite comic book artist, that is.

His gag-comic style was so profoundly exciting and provocative, brutal and insanely creative, that it knocked me off my feet when reading them for the first time. He was the main reason, why I started to see comic book art as a profession, instead of just a hobby.

(look who is talking, I ain't making no money xD)

I just learned that he sadly passed away last year, which broke my heart. the guy was just increadible and maybe you can find some joy in his work as well.

    Cheers!

078_Eric Barone - the one man army

Eric Barone is the developer behind Stardew Valley. It took him 4 years to develop the game and a very tight cycle of dedicated work. Even managed to maintain a relationship with his long term girldfriend, to my surprise xD.

If you have never heard of this guy and his efforts, check him out and search for some good articles or even interviews online. His success is truly inspirational.

    077_Soulmate Cliche

Since there is a new movie out on Netflix that deals with this soulmate idea, or finding love at the worst time in your life, I thought I might add some of my thoughts to this cliché.

Not much else to tell. shorter then usual :-)

076_Self Love and approval on social media

076_Self Love and approval on social media

I found another article that promotes self love and self approval in the wrong way. I won't post this article since I firmly believe there is nothing you could learn here.

This topic is a bit disturbing, since it fits nicely into the toxic positivity we find day in, day out in social media. "You are great". "the time is NOW, to be enough for yourself."

This type of nonsense is damaging to people who struggle with the real problems in their lives. Instead of learning something productive, they learn how to ignore it instead and keep lying to yourself.

I'll be ranting a bit about that, like I love to do :-)

    Cheers!
