#103 He Lives Up To His Name
LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN! Deanna talks about why she can't get that song out of her head. Chris's funny impersonations are in full effect, and of course they have to talk about the return of Ted Lasso. Then Chris takes us to La Petite Roche, Arkansas where we learn all about rich-in-history city, as well as the fun things to do while visiting. It's at a Waffle House there that we are introduced to Devonte Gardner, a server whose kind and caring demeanor made it easy for eight-year-old customer Kayzen Hunter to become friends with him. It's through that friendship and their connection that we learn how forever-changed Devonte's life has become because of Kayzen's act of kindness and how HE LIVES UP TO HIS NAME.

#102 Pretty Remarkable
Deanna and Chris are in sing-songy moods as they kick off this episode. They chat about how Chris gets around and their shared annoyance of Snow White. Leavin' on a jet plane, they head to Decatur, Georgia where Deanna shares the history of the town, as well fun things to do while visiting. #100 Appreciate The Little Things
"HAPPY 100TH TO US! HAPPY 100TH TO US! HAPPY 100TH EPISODE! HAPPY 100TH TO US!" Chris and Deanna celebrate this being their 100th episode and chat all about their week. #99 Make It Every Day
ACHOO! Sniffle. Sniffle. A little cold can't keep Deanna away from The Happy Place this week. She shares a pre-cold story about going on an eagle hunt with her mom and how amazing the day was which prompts Chris to tell an oldie-but-goodie joke that goes well with that conversation. From there, Chris shares all about an organization that doing amazing things to encourage people to do random acts of kindness (aka RAKs). He shares what RAKtivists are and gives us great ideas for RAKs that we can do ourselves, as well as lets us know all the ways that RAKs are beneficial to our mind, body, and soul. Then he tells some touching stories of random acts of kindness that really pull at the heart strings before encouraging us to look for ways to do RAKs not just one week a year, but to MAKE IT EVERY DAY.

#98 The Reward Is Far Greater
Deanna barely gets a word in edgewise as Chris talks all about his newest Netflix fave "Cunk On Earth", which is a witty mockumentary tracing the history of civilization. With the dinner of his choice on the line, Deanna then quizzes Chris on twenty Valentine's trivia questions before taking us to Charlotte, North Carolina where we learn all about that amazing Gamma + city... and what Gamma + even means (FYI: It has nothing to do with gophers!). It's there that we meet Ashley Manning, a woman whose talent for flower arranging has poured over into a passion for flipping the switch on what Valentine's Day typically is by serving a sometimes-forgotten population, proving that when we all work to share love THE REWARD IS FAR GREATER.

Chris and Deanna I absolutely love your podcast. I went into it with little knowledge of what I was about to embark on. I could listen to a full show of your banter. Then for you to take us on a journey across the world with this beautiful story of love with bits of history along the way. Carrie and I are going to make this a weekly tradition.
My happy time
True confession. I thought I had been following Chris and Deanna on this podcast. I listened to each and every episode (just got caught up again!) I could never find where to write a review. Well, that’s because I was NOT following them. Oops. I am not so tech savvy. Now I am! With all the craziness in the world right now, we all need a place to go to feel good. Mine is walking with my dog. Usually I am making phone calls and answering emails as well. I’ve started making sure that on some of my walks I listen to The Good All Around Us. The combination of hearing Chris and Deanna interact (talk about relationship goals, people!), hearing about others who do wonderful things and being outside in nature is a perfect combination to raise my mood. Thanks for doing this, guys!

There are a few podcasts where I anxiously await for new episodes and this one is on the top of my list! We need more Good stories in our lives. And, I've learned along the way and will search wikipedia (nod to Chris, just joking) and the interwebs to learn more about the people featured. Chris and Deanna's banter is wonderful.
