The Secret Sauce of Warren Buffett | Ingredient #1: Trusting Your Inner Scorecard

The Secret Sauce of Warren Buffett | Ingredient #1: Trusting Your Inner Scorecard

Warren Buffett, like most hyper-successful business people, wasn't born a billionaire. Buffett was born during the Great Depression and watched his country suffer financially. At an early age, the business magnate begins studying financial trends and pinches pennies on his way to becoming one of the world’s wealthiest people. But his interest in the stock market doesn’t cement his success. Warren isn’t the best student, and he most certainly isn’t winning any popularity contest. To grow his own money, he must first find a way to get people to trust him and view him as a long-term investment.

The Secret Sauce of Jony Ive | Ingredient #3: Legacy

Apple has become a product goldmine with the success of the iMac and iPod, but Jony and Steve refuse to stop there. Jony Ive believes that he can do for phones what the iMac did for computers. And if he does that, it’ll secure the legacy of his collaboration with his best friend, Steve Jobs. The only problem is Jony's design requires materials that aren't on the marketplace, and Steve's health is declining rapidly. In his final act, Jony will have to find a way to honor Apple's vision — a vision that has changed how the world interacts with technology and that he helped design.
