Money and Millennials- Planning for Aging Parents
On this episode Cyreta and I discuss how millennials are wrestling with planning for the needs of their aging parents. As they deal with small children their careers and managing their own debt they are now grappling with caring for parents and their potential healthcare needs. They are considering their roles as their parents may have little to no resources if nursing home care is needed.

Millennials and Money-Exorbitant Childcare
On this episode millennial mom Cyreta and I discuss the high cost of childcare. She has two children and her childcare costs just for her infant are between $1800 and $2000 a month. We discuss the financial decisions she and her husband had to make when their current daycare decided to close their doors.

Elle Rhodes on Brewing Change in the Beverage Industry
On this episode I have a conversation with Elle Rhodes the co-founder of the Brewing Change Collaborative. She talks about how she got involved in the beverage space. She explains that many times people of color are targeted for marketing of beverage products but are severely underrepresented when it comes to ownership. This Non-profit organization provides entrepreneurial and financial literacy resources to its members, and you don’t have to be in the beverage industry to join. The Brewing Change Collaborative is doing great work in the Twin Cities.

Marsha Carter Teaches Women How to Advance Beyond the Dance
On this episode I have a conversation with Pastor Marsha D. Carter the founder of the Beyond the Dance Network. A nonprofit organization that provides services to underserved women and children in the urban community. In addition to providing leadership and life coaching skills, Marsha partners with local organizations to help women get the resources they necessary to obtain jobs, housing, addiction services and much more. The organization also provides clothing and household items that the women may need who are getting back on their feet. The Beyond the Dance Network is doing great work in the Twin Cities.
