X, Y, and Z is for Unusual Tools of the Trade

X, Y, and Z is for Unusual Tools of the Trade

Welcome Witches to Witchcraft from A to Z, your go-to witchy podcast for finding the magic hidden among the mundane! My name is Elaine Evergreen, a practicing witch of over 15 years now and I'll be your host this week. For this week’s episode we are going to be finishing the first round of the alphabet with x for xylitol, y for yogurt, and z for zucchini.

As these items dont particularly have enough content to write entire episodes on I figured why not finish off the first season of Witchcraft from A to Z with them together.

W is for Walnut - Casting Spells with Walnut Shells

W is for Walnut - Casting Spells with Walnut Shells

Welcome Witches to Witchcraft from A to Z, your go-to witchy podcast for finding the magic hidden among the mundane! My name is Elaine Evergreen, a practicing witch of over 15 years now and I'll be your host this week. This episode is all about walnuts and how you can incorporate this common tree nut into your magical practice!

Walnuts have been used, traded, eaten, and revered by humans for at least 7 thousand years. Used for barter by the Persians and Phoenicians, revered by the Greeks in dedication of the goddess Diana, and renowned by the Romans for its health benefits. Walnuts are even referenced in the bible when referring to King Solomon’s garden. Though there is not record that shows exactly when walnuts came to make its place in human history, the records that are written show that it was valued highly, consumed by nobility with dessert in Rome, and that under its trees feasts were held in honor of gods and goddesses.
