Money money money with Makala Green

This week, the girls chat to financial planner and money expert Makala Green. Makala is the author of The Money Edit, a fantastic book that helps its readers feel more confident and in control when it comes to their finances. Em and Alex take this opportunity to pick Makala's brain about the things they've always wanted to know but were too scared to ask. They discuss debt and mortgages and recessions, and Makala shares a breakdown of what a pension actually is...

Andrew Le Page on Love Island or whatever...

Andrew Le Page on Love Island or whatever...

This week, Em and Alex talk to former Love Island contestant Andrew Le Page. His very public misstep and subsequent apology went viral as he uttered “I sucked on her t**s or whatever…”. These simple words sent the general public into a tailspin while Andrew, living in Mallorca with the UK’s most eligible singles and no access to the outside world, was completely oblivious to the frenzied response. He shares what this was like, opens up about his relationship with Tasha, and enlightens the girls with some production secrets (our fave!).
Alex and Em teased this announcement on socials, and you might already know what’s coming, but listen to find out what exactly it is that they’ve been hiding!

Healing is a forever love with Alex Elle

This week the girls talk to the incomparable Alex Elle. Alex is an author and restorative writing teacher, and she shares some of her incredible wisdom on boundaries, healing and generational trauma on the pod today. Her unique and sage perspective gave Alex and Em food for thought, especially around the complexities of prescription medication for mental health.

The Only Podcast I Consistently Listen To

Em and Alex are the best way to start my week! Listening to their podcast on my commute to work feels like chatting with old friends. I don’t listen to many other podcasts, and even then only random episodes, but these girls bring you in and talk about real issues in the world in an open and honest way. 10/10 would recommend listening! (Also I love their hilarious embarrassing story share time at the end of each episode…it’s like Graham Norton’s red chair and silly late night talks with friends all at once😍💕)
