You know how history goes. Some “say it ain’t so,” while others say something different. The rotten man in question today helped Joan fulfill her self-proclaimed purpose, but he met an even worse fate than she did.

I am speaking about nobleman Gilles de Rais and his horrifying murder of hundreds of young children in his quest for salvation. I’m pretty sure murder is right up there in one of the “thou shalt nots.” I personally would have gone the charity route, but I’m a rebel like that.

What did Mrs. Koch do you say? Well, a number of things. Including being married to a sadistic SS officer and going above and way beyond joining him in his job of overseeing death camps for Hitler. Now, when I say above and beyond, I mean some twisted stuff. For starters, if she liked a prisoner's skin or tattoos. She would have them taken for “special studies,” and they were killed and skinned. Then she would take that skin and either hand-make or force other prisoners to make accessories and home decor out of it. One of her favorites was a handbag she would often carry with her.

This episode will be a little different from our usual, as no one was ever caught or came forward to admit guilt. This is one story we can’t go back and look at their childhood or anything else to help us wrap our minds around the rotten actions of Jack the Ripper.
