Hexum’s death leaves Hollywood in shock as Cover Up producers scramble to continue the show. Meanwhile, Hexum’s organ donation improves the lives of five strangers, one of whom will end up behind bars. And the Hexum family takes legal action in a search for answers.

Jon-Erik Hexum enters his last week. As he struggles to find time to practice his upcoming Circus of the Stars appearance, he also faces creative changes on his troubled show. While the writers race to churn out new pages for Cover Up, they’re stymied by a network executive who orders even more rewrites… to put more action – aka violence – into the show.

With his casting in a high-profile movie-of-the-week, and in an independent feature film, Hexum’s career takes off… leading one of TV’s top producers to offer him the lead in a sure-fire hit show. But with the role, Hexum finds himself at odds with the critics and scrambling to keep his star from fading.

Despite little-to-no experience, Jon-Erik Hexum swaggers into Hollywood and suddenly finds himself starring in ’Voyagers.’ But critics lash out against the show’s ’action’; a TV network code-word for ’violence’... which will eventually contribute to Hexum’s untimely death a year later.
